Experts from the Chinese Society of Command and Control Conduct a Research Visit to Tripole Guangdian and Jointly Visit the Institute of Aerospace Information

On August 23, 2025, Xing Lei—Secretary-General of the Intelligence and Cognitive Science Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Command and Control, Researcher at the China Aviation Industry Comprehensive Research Institute, and Secretary-General of the Subcommittee on Aircraft Data Definition and Management under the National Technical Committee for Aircraft Standardization—along with a delegation of leaders including Shi Yuxin and Lou Yuechen, members of the Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Command and Control, visited Tripole Guangdian (Suzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. for an inspection and exchange. The purpose of this visit was to deepen mutual understanding, explore opportunities for military science popularization, technical cooperation, and innovative applications, and jointly chart a new chapter of development.

Technical Exchange Focuses on Military Science Popularization and Industrial Cooperation

At 9:30 a.m., the delegation of experts from the Society arrived at Tripole Optoelectronics. They were warmly received by Yuan Junqi, Chairman of Tripole Optoelectronics; Hua Ying, General Manager of Suzhou Tsinghua Science Park Development Co., Ltd.; Chen Ruojia, Vice President of Tripole Optoelectronics; and Lü Gongping, Project Director of Tripole Optoelectronics.

During the symposium, Yuan Junqi provided the guests with a detailed overview of Tripole Optoelectronics’ development history, core technological strengths, and industrial布局 in the field of holographic diffractive optics. He highlighted the company’s R&D breakthroughs and large-scale manufacturing capabilities in holographic diffractive optical elements and imaging modules, and elaborated on their broad application prospects in both military and civilian sectors.

The Society provided a detailed introduction to its “Recruitment of Public-Interest, Open-Source Military Science Popularization Products” initiative. Xing Lei expressed his hope that Tripole Optoelectronics’ advanced optical technologies would provide support for the industrial application of dual-use equipment and military science popularization. Both parties engaged in pragmatic discussions regarding technical cooperation models and reached a preliminary agreement on collaboration.

Joint Visit to Expand the Aerospace Information Cooperation Network

To further integrate industrial resources, at 1:00 p.m. that afternoon, Yuan Junqi of Tripole Optoelectronics, accompanied by Xing Lei, Secretary-General of the Society, and committee members Shi Yuxin and Lou Yuechen, visited the Suzhou Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Aerospace Information for an exchange. They were warmly received by Gu Shuang, a member of the Institute’s Party Committee and Director of Department 21, along with other leaders. The group toured the institute’s research achievements in the field of aerospace information and participated in a roundtable discussion. As a national-level R&D base in the field of aerospace information, the Suzhou Institute of Aerospace Information left a deep impression on all participants with its robust scientific research capabilities and substantial engineering achievements.

Through this joint visit to the Suzhou Institute, resources among the “Society–Enterprise–Research Institute” tripartite partnership were effectively linked. Tripole Optoelectronicslooks forward to using this opportunity to jointly promote the innovative application of cutting-edge optical technologies in both military and civilian sectors, thereby injecting new momentum into the industry’s high-quality development.

Tripole Optoelectronicshas long been dedicated to holographic diffractive optics and holds a leading position in China. With a total R&D and production facility area of 7,600 square meters, it is the first company in China to achieve large-scale production of holographic diffractive elements, possessing the capacity to produce millions of such components annually. Its products are primarily used in military flight helmet-mounted sights, individual combat helmets, and holographic sights; automotive applications such as AR HUDs, holographic displays, and image sensors; as well as consumer electronics and display manufacturers. Tripole Optoelectronicsenjoys widespread recognition and influence within the industry. Internationally renowned industry media have described the company as follows: “China’s  Tripole Optoelectronics, a company playing a crucial role in China’s holographic diffractive device market, possesses technology capable of competing with global giants.”
